Fish 307 reports that Lake George fishing continues to be good.
Bass are near docks and debris. Yamamoto Senkos are working well
for bass. Lake trout are in 50 to 120 feet of water.
Staff from Saratoga Bait & Tackle shop reports fishing to be
OK on Saratoga Lake. Bass are hitting on rubber worms. You can also
have some luck with crankbaits in about 20 feet of water for
pickerel and pike.
Rainbow trout are hitting in Glen Lake and Moreau Lake on
Christmas tree rigs and Lake Clear Wabblers.
Bass and catfish fishing is also picking up in the Canal and on
the Hudson River. In the catch-and-release areas of the Hudson,
anglers are reporting high numbers of fish. In the Canal (where you
can keep the fish) anglers are having great luck on catfish using
large suckers, stink baits and shrimp.
