Honeoye Lake: Dan Sharp at Honeoye Bait and Tackle sends word
that crappie action went cold with the temperatures and when things
warm up again, so will the fishing. Try the southwest corner or the
northeast corner of the lake, depending on the winds and the
sun.

Seneca Lake: Perch fishing continues to be fair for anglers
fishing off the fishing pier in Watkins Glen with small
minnows.

Cayuga Lake: Salmon and brown trout are hitting on the south end
of the lake for anglers using side planners and flatlining with
stick baits. Browns and landlockeds are also hitting around
Taughannock Point and at AES. Lake trout fishing has been slow but
some fish are being found in 100 feet of water.

Owasco Lake: Yellow perch fishing has been great for anglers
fishing with fathead minnows and jigs in the north end of the lake,
and in 20 feet of water around Martin’s and Buck Points.

Skaneateles Lake: Fishing off the pier in the Village of
Skaneateles with marshmallow/worm rigs is still working for rainbow
trout.

Otisco Lake: Brown trout are being caught throughout the lake
along the shoreline. Perch are hitting on the north end of the lake
on fathead minnows. Bullheads are hitting on worms by the
causeway.
