Caseville Area

Windy weather has put a damper on fishing pressure on Lake
Huron. For those who are venturing out, walleyes are hitting
crawler harnesses in 6 to 8 feet of water between Sand Point and
Sebewaing. Anglers fishing crankbaits off the breakwall in
Caseville also are catching walleyes, especially in the evenings.
The catfish bite also has been good. Turkey hunting has been good.
Mushroom hunters are finding black morels.

Harbor Beach Area

Fishing is heating up on Lake Huron. Anglers pulling spoons
behind planer boards in 10 to 30 feet of water are catching a mixed
bag of cohos, steelhead, and a few brown trout. Turkey hunting has
been pretty good, and a few black morels have been found.

Lexington Area

Lakers and cohos are keeping Lake Huron anglers busy at
Lexington. Boat anglers are pulling spoons behind planer boards in
10 to 20 feet of water. Pier anglers are catching perch, but are
having to sort for the keepers. Turkey hunting has been good.
