Lake St. Clair High winds have put a damper on fishing on Lake St. Clair, and all the state ramps have been pulled so access is limited. Ice fishing is still at least a coupe weeks away, weather permitting. A little shore ice is beginning to form. The firearms deer season was a mixed bag.

Bergland Area Ice is forming on the shallow bays of Lake Gogebic. A few anglers were venturing out late last week and were catching fair numbers of walleyes near shore.
