Walker, Minn. The Minnesota DNR is reminding Leech Lake anglers and area residents to comment on its proposal to implement experimental regulations for walleyes on Leech Lake.

The first open house, in Walker, will take place on Dec. 16, from 5:30-9 p.m. at Walker/Hackensack/Akeley High School. Grand Rapids, Minn. The Grand Rapids DNR area fisheries office announced Tuesday the decision to implement walleye harvest regulations on seven lakes throughout Itasca County.
