Mixed Bag

Fitchburg, Wis. People looking for a special reason to get out
on their favorite lake next year can join more than 1,000
volunteers statewide who are part of the DNR’s Self-Help Monitoring
Program. The DNR needs volunteers to monitor lakes in south-central
Wisconsin next the summer.

There are 212 named lakes in south-central Wisconsin, and only
25 lakes are being monitored under the program. Anyone interested
