St. Paul Women interested in taking part in a winter workshop offered by the Minnesota DNR Becoming An Outdoors Woman program should sign up soon. This year’s event will take place March 4-6 at the Gunflint Lodge near Grand Marais.

Programs such as trapping and polar fleece mitten-making are among the offerings, as are snowmobiling, ice fishing, dog mushing, and cross-country skiing, according to BOW coordinator Jean Bergerson.
