St. Paul Cathy Hamm has been named Central Region Enforcement supervisor for the DNR. Capt. Hamm began working for the DNR when she was 17 and became the state’s first female conservation officer in 1980. She’s also served as the statewide training coord

The DNR also announced Mike Hammer is the new Enforcement Division education program coordinator. Capt. Hammer, the son of retired CO Fred Hammer, has served as CO in several areas, as well as regional training officer for the division.
