St. Paul Sixteen counties this week were removed from the state DNR’s list of those with burning restrictions. Restrictions were lifted because vegetation has greened up enough to lower wildfire danger. Burn restrictions were lifted for Clay, Clearwater,

Counties that still have burn restrictions likely will be removed in the near future. For more information about burning restrictions, check the DNR’s web site at www.dnr.state.mn.us/forestry/fire or call your local DNR office.
