Minneapolis It’s nearly time for the 72nd Annual Northwest Sportshow. The big event runs March 2-7 this year at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The Northwest Sportshow features more than 400 travel booths, a
showroom loaded with boats, Minnesota’s largest tackle show, and
lots of free daily seminars featuring the likes of Gary Roach, Al
Lindner, “Lucky” Libby Hoene, and Dennis Douda. The sportshow also
will be the site of the Willow Creek Trout Pond and “The Travelin’
Fish Tank.”

Show hours are 5-10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2; 2-10 p.m.,
Wednesday through Friday, March 3-5; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday,
March 6; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. Admission is $9
for adults, $4 for kids ages 5-11, and free to youths under age 5.
