Waite Park, Minn. The Minnesota Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts has named Stearns County SWCD the state’s Outstanding Soil and Water Conservation District of the Year.

The award is based on a number of factors, including training for staff and supervisors, program involvement, tours, demonstrations, supervisor and staff presentations to other organizations, and soliciting grants for special projects.
