St. Paul An exhibit that depicts farm animals as similar to victims of the Nazi Holocaust sponsored by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) was displayed on public property outside the State Capitol last week with the state’s permission.

PETA applied with Plant Services in the state’s Department of Administration and received the necessary permit, says Dan Walter, spokesman for Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s office.
