St. Paul Although there were 20,110 quota area bear licenses available this year in 11 bear permit areas, 5,144 licenses remain for seven of those areas because there were not enough applicants, according to the DNR.

State’s duck harvest climbed again in ’02

CWD: New state carcass import law kicks in Friday

DNR Reports St. Paul This fall, big game hunters will need to take additional steps prior to bringing deer, elk, moose or caribou carcasses into Minnesota from other states or provinces, according to the DNR.
