St. Paul The 2004 Minnesota Migratory Waterfowl Stamp Contest is near, as the DNR will begin accepting entries Aug. 25, 2003. The entry deadline is Friday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. The winning design will be used for next year’s state waterfowl stamp.

Two species are eligible for the 2004 stamp, the white-winged scoter and the common merganser. Contest judging is Sept. 11. Designs may be mailed to the DNR’s main office at: 500 Lafayette Road, St. Paul, MN 55155-4007, or they may be delivered in person.
