Madison, Wis. Two more cases of chronic wasting disease have been found in the area where Wisconsin officials want all deer killed to eradicate the disease, according to the state DNR.

The findings bring the number of deer found with CWD to 64, all
in southwestern Wisconsin and within miles of where the disease was
discovered near Mount Horeb in 2002.

The DNR said 58 of the deer were found in the 411-square-mile
area near Mount Horeb where the agency wants all deer an estimated
30,000 killed to try to eradicate the disease from the herd.
