St. Paul Poachers could have their fish and game licenses seized and face stiffer penalties including having their boat, motor, and trailer confiscated under the state’s new gross overlimits regulations, which go into effect March 1.

The bill allows for a gross misdemeanor penalty when the value of illegally taken game or fish exceeds $1,000.
