St. Paul The director of Gov.-elect Tim Pawlenty’s transition team said this week the process of selecting a DNR commissioner is continuing. Charlie Weaver reiterated Tuesday the team is committed to selecting the right candidate for the post, stating ch

He said that Pawlenty is committed to ensuring funds from hunting and fishing licenses are spent “as intended.” Pawlenty earlier suggested the divisions of Fish and Wildlife be separated from the DNR.
