Little Falls, Minn. The Minnesota DNR is soliciting nominations for two awards the Firearms Safety Instructor of the Year and the Snowmobile Safety Instructor of the Year.

The deadline for nomination for the firearms safety award is Feb. 1. For the snowmobile safety award, the deadline is Jan. 10.
