St. Paul A painting by Stephen P. Hamrick of Lakeville was chosen as the winning design from among 23 entries in the pheasant habitat stamp contest sponsored by the DNR last week.

The other finalists were Scot Storm of Sartell, second place; Thomas Bates of Eagan, third place; and David Chapman of Minnetonka, fourth place.
