Aitkin, Minn. Crappie USA and the Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce have announced Minnesota’s first Crappie USA Tournament scheduled for June 15 at the Farm Island Lake Resort and Campground on Farm Island Lake near Aitkin.

Tucson, Ariz. Safari Club International has announced that Dan Treb, of Delano, Minn., has been elected to SCI’s 300-person Board of Directors for the second straight year.

St. Paul Driving home from an unsuccessful fishing trip in northern Minnesota last weekend, George and Joy Moroz nearly got hit by a flying walleye.
