St. Paul The Minnesota Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is exploring with the Minnesota DNR the concept of a special youth turkey hunt.

Aspects of the hunt under consideration include the following: private land only, restricted to youth who didn’t draw a turkey tag, and the need for youth to first attend a turkey hunting clinic and firearms safety class.
