Oakdale, Minn. For the second year, the Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Alliance will host its Outdoor Heritage Youth Expo, this year to be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 16, at the Prom Center in Oakdale, Minn.

The expo gives youth opportunities to learn about conservation and wildlife; to meet with colleges and universities about outdoor careers; and to learn about the groups that support conservation, hunting, and fishing. Minocqua, Wis. One of the Northwoods’ colorful fishing guides, Ray Kennedy, of Minocqua, died June 14 at age 76 on the shores of small lake that was part of his childhood. Kennedy was found dead the afternoon of June 14 on the shore of Sally’s Lake on the property of the state-owned Kemp Biological Station
