Grand Rapids, Minn. Preparation for the Sept. 15 deer bowhunting season can begin early this year, as the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association hosts a 3-D archery shoot on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Minnesota Shooting Sports Education Center in Grand Rapids,

The MDHA 3-D shoot will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Archery
equipment dealers will be on hand and there will be novelty events.
The shoot will cost $10 for MDHA members and $15 for nonmembers,
with youth under 12 admitted free. The proceeds will benefit youth
