St. Paul The Minnesota Walleye Alliance has been around for only two years, but already has two chapters and more than 300 members one in the Twin Cities metro area and the other in Brainerd. New chapters are expected soon in Duluth, Grand Rapids, St. Cl

The MWA encourages youth involvement in angling and will host
free kids’ clinics at the Walleye Expo, Feb. 2-4, 2001, at
Canterbury Park in Shakopee.

Club meetings are open to the public and the next is scheduled
for Dec. 20 at the American Legion in Richfield. A special program
will feature Outdoor News’ staffer “Tackle” Terry Tuma providing
walleye-catching tips.
