Rochester, Minn. The Minnesota DNR is asking for help in identifying vandals who destroyed access gates and road signs in the Whitewater Wildlife Management Area.

Jon Cole, manager of the Whitewater WMA, said two gates, worth
about $500, and two road signs were destroyed sometime after dark
on Nov. 4. The gates, which control access to service roads in the
Dorer Pools, were along Minnesota Highway 74 about 2 miles west of
Weaver, Minn.

Anyone with information about the incidents is encouraged to
call the Whitewater WMA office at (507) 932-4133. The Wabasha
County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
