DULUTH AREA
Look to Island Lake for walleyes in 12 to 14 feet and muskies are being taken with large sucker minnows in eight to 10 feet. Crappies remain active in the narrows at Fish Lake over 14 feet and the St. Louis River is producing muskies on large minnows. Grouse hunters are reporting that birds are getting scattered, but they continue to see birds. There’s been about three deer registered each day by archery hunters and the bigger bucks seem to be moving.
