Fast forward with more waters and limits and the fishing is even better. Coincidence? Probably
Shane Johnson had just one bite during five hours of fishing from the late evening of Jan. 3 to the early morning of Jan. 4.
But that one bite was taken by a
North Dakota figures to have many ice-fishing opportunities for anglers around the state with walleye and northern pike waters being plentiful.

Anglers are finding some nice walleyes and good numbers of perch on Devils Lake.

Frigid temps have made for some good, solid ice-making, with ice readings ranging from very thin to upwards of 4 to 6 inches in the Northern Basin of the lake.
