Streams like the Salmon River in Pulaski should start cranking up soon, and east Lake Ontario will also be a hot-spot in the coming weeks.
Anglers are still catching plenty of bass and pike.
Bass and pike fishing (along with chasing walleyes and muskies wherever possible) continue to be hot pursuits.
Overall, walleye fishing on Lake Erie has been fair, with some more productive days and spots mixed in.
