There seemed to be quite a bit of fish movement to deeper water this week.
Finding a lot of fish sliding into their summer patterns and the fish size is getting better as well. Some full-proof ways to catch them right now.
Rapidly warming water has meant summer patterns have started to develop for most species.
After the cold front last week, weather conditions stabilized a bit more and walleyes seem to be responding in most areas.
The fishing has been fairly solid. Some fun ways to catch them. Here’s what’s worked this past week …
It sounds as if everything picked up with the clouds and wind last weekend and many areas reported a better walleye bite this week than during opening weekend.
A lot of fish in the shallows and the action is fast. However, we slowed down to catch the bigger fish. Here’s how we caught ’em.
The best reports came from water less than 15 feet deep on minnows or leeches, but some walleyes were found deep as well.
