Walleye fishing is getting a little tough, but how about the rock bass bite!

Walleye bite is getting tougher, but here’s how – and where – to catch ’em. And how about the bass?

For panfish, the fishing is a bit behind schedule. But that could change quickly.

The walleye bite has gotten a little bit tougher yet as the hatch is on.

Lake Bemidji is really kicking out the walleyes.

Good walleye bite going on numerous area lakes, still in fairly shallow water. Jigs and minnows and live-bait rigs, along with crawlers and minnows working well. Pretty much all species going strong.

The bite is starting to pick up, including the walleye bite. Here’s where they’re biting, and what’s working to catch ’em.

Rain and snow? No matter, multi-species fishing – particularly for crappies – going strong. And walleye bite has been, well, OK.

Wind made it tough on some of the bigger lakes in the area.
