The crappie and saugeye bite on inland waters in the Buckeye State is finally starting to turn, with anglers reporting good catches of both species all around Ohio.
With water temps continuing to rise, fishing remains productive at fisheries across the state.
The bite – and run – continues to be going strong for numerous species.
The nice weather late last week, over the weekend, and this week also seemed to jump start spring crappie and bluegill fishing opportunities.

As the water temps heat up, so does the bite. Crappies are moving in, and shiners are the way to go for walleyes. Crankbait bite is also hot.
Fishing reports are scarce these days, and fishing options are equally as few, but fish are still biting statewide.
