Most fisheries seeing better ice, but it’s still iffy in a lot of places, too. What that’s meaning for the fishing pressure … and how’s the bite?
Anglers are starting to get out on some lakes.
Ice conditions are so-so, and the bite is about the same at a number of fisheries.
Many lakes across the state have opened back up again, pushing off ice fishing. But fish are being caught in the open water.
The bite – mostly panfish – has been mostly fair across the state, but better days are likely ahead.

Walleye fishing continues to be slow at fisheries across the state. How about other species?
