Allegheny River (Allegheny County) — Smallmouth bass, rock bass and walleyes were reported at the mouth of Deer Creek. Water was high in the river. Deer Lakes (Allegheny County) — Anglers were catching stocked trout

South Central Pennsylvania Fishing Report – June 6th, 2014

Little Juniata River (Huntingdon County) — Above-average and very dirty conditions were reported May 23, but water was dropping. TCO Fly Shop reported plenty of caddis were around, along with sulphur spinners in the evenings.

Harveys Lake (Luzerne County) — Brown trout up to 8 to 10 pounds were reported on crankbaits. Francis Slocum State Park Lake (Luzerne County) — Trout and crappies were hitting minnows, crawlers, and grubs as

Southeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – June 6th, 2014

Little Lehigh Creek (Lehigh County) — Sulphurs were hatching in mid-May. Caddis pupae and Crane flies were productive. Lake Nockamixon (Bucks County) — A few nice walleyes were reported, including a 27-incher on a Thunderstick.

FAIRMONT AREA Bluegills are hitting in four to six feet on Budd Lake and Lake Sissiton, as are crappies at Amber Lake, George Lake, and Budd. Crankbaits or Lindy rigs and leeches are producing walleyes
