The best walleye fishing in New England will begin soon in several Vermont rivers and lakes, according to the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.
Vermont moose hunting permit applications are available online and printed applications will be at Vermont license agents statewide in June. The deadline to apply is July 5.
