Iowa, Minnesota to study deer hunting differences

St. Paul The 2004 Annual Pheasants Forever National Golf Tournament will be held Aug. 9 at the Stillwater Country Club in Stillwater, Minn.
The festivities will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start; an auction and banquet will follow the tournament. Four-person teams will take part, and organizations are encouraged to sponsor a hole. Gift certificate prizes
St. Paul Conservation-minded motorists have driven proceeds from the sale of Critical Habitat License Plates over the $10 million mark. More than 100,000 loon and deer license plates are traveling Minnesota’s roads and highways.
Proceeds from the $30 annual contribution are helping protect and manage critical habitat across the state. License plate dollars have so far purchased more than 3,100 acres of critical lands, like islands and lakeshore. Some
