Minnesota anglers are wishing for open water across much of the state as of April 5, 2023.

There are a few still fishing walleyes, but the attention of many ice anglers this time of year is big pike.

Walleyes seem to be moving this time of year. If you are on them, it is normally good. The combo of the jigging line and deadstick is working well.
