Walleyes are setting up in good numbers in 22-27 feet of water, with the bite excellent as we move deeper into fall.

It was a good multi-species week in the metro area.

Water temps drop and fewer people fishing this week. Here’s a look at the Minnesota fishing and hunting report on Sept. 10, 2025.

As waters cool, more fish are pushing toward the shorelines, and this movement will only increase as the fall progresses.

We switched gears a little and gave the walleyes some attention, but still hit the bass and other species as well.
