Lake Erie (Erie County) A few steelhead were reported in the upper reaches of Elk and Walnut creeks and in Conneaut Creek around Albion. Anglers also caught steelhead on minnows and orange PowerEggs at Cascade
Keystone Lake (Armstrong County) Crappies and muskies were reported in early March amid light angling pressure. Brady’s Run Lake, Raccoon Lake (Beaver County) Limits of trout were reported on pastebaits and inline spinners in mid-March.
Sayers Lake (Centre County) Ice-out made for good fishing although low water levels from the winter draw-down made boat launching tough in early March. Perch anglers were doing well on jigs and minnows. Live minnows
