Lake Erie walleye fishing has generally been slow, but improving. At mid-week there was a noticeable jump in average catches out of Barcelona Harbor, with multiple boats returning with limit catches.

With unseasonably warm weather, boaters have been getting out to catch good numbers of jumbo perch here.
On a good note Hurricane Ian churned up the shallow waters in this area and produced a lot of debris for the pelagic fish to forage around.
In central Florida, the early morning bass fishing bite is hot.
The saltwater bite is going strong for a number of species, but don’t forget freshwater action, too.
Fishing from around the sunshine state proves to be picking up, either in salt or freshwater.
