Smallmouth bass are biting on ned rigs and swimbaits in protected break wall areas, and largemouth in the weedier harbor areas here.
On the tribs thanks to a good head of water pumping through all the waterways, likely from the seasonal filling of the Erie Canal, there’s been good smallmouth bass action reported.
Anglers found good success walleye fishing in 20 feet of water in this part of Lake Erie.
