Slowly but surely, all that cold spring water is getting milder, and hopefully that will mean more consistent action for the summer ahead.

Lakes and the Missouri River continue to produce walleyes. The summertime presentations have taken over – plenty of pulling cranks and using bottom-bouncers.

The jig bite remains strong. Many anglers are still anchoring up or spot-locking and working a jig tipped with a frozen emerald shiner.
