Perch fishing on Lake Michigan has been excellent, particularly in the Cal Park area, with lots of boats out and lots of fish caught.
The ice is slow to take hold on most fisheries, but the crappie bite remains good.
Walleye bite is reportedly very good – although ice is still very sketchy.
