The water has cooled down a lot over the past week, so expect the fall feedbags to be on big-time moving forward.

First it was the wind, then snow, and now the cold. But it looks like the weekend will be a great opportunity to get another trip in before winterizing the boat.

On the Rainy River, a great week of walleye fishing, despite some weather systems moving through.

We definitely felt the chill this week and things are progressing into cold-water patterns.

Muskellunge anglers have been successful trolling along the shoreline in this area.

Fall bite showing signs of picking up statewide.

There are still salmon trickling into all the Lake Michigan tributaries.

This summer’s algae bloom is subsiding with the cooler water temperatures on fisheries across the state. And the bite?

Fall temperatures have settled in on the Buckeye State and the saugeye and crappie fishing have been fantastic.
