The good numbers of mid-sized kings has not gone away here and hefty lakers and browns are filling in the mixed-bag catches.

Walleye fishing on Lake Erie was consistently good. Anglers trolled bottom-bouncers with crawler harnesses around 30 feet behind the boat in Brest Bay, in around 20 feet of water, and had good success.
