The cooler evenings have definitely helped the shore bite recently. Otherwise, the walleye bite continues to improve as the water temps fall.

Many of the fish across the south shore are over mud. No structure, just a lot of forage that holds the fish. Get out among the fish, anchor up and get your jig on.
Water temps are holding in the 70s and the fish appear to be a bit confused.
The river here is in good shape. Water temps are in the high 60s to low 70s and late-summer patterns are in full swing.
Walleye seem to be biting in 20 to 40 feet of water on this fishery, trolling or jigging.
