St. Paul Six designs, including two featuring loons, were selected March 1 as finalists in the contest that will result in a new offer-ing for Minnesota drivers who support natural resources through the purchase of conservation license plates.

The finalists can be viewed and voted on via the DNR’s web site at www.dnr.state.mn.us. On March 19, a panel of judges will select the winning entry. The winner receives $500. Plates are available for Minnesota motorists for a minimum annual contribution of $30. The plates have generated $3.9 million for wildlife habitat since they
