Walleye were reported to have returned as more and more anglers found success walleye fishing on Lake Erie.

Fishing here improved greatly this past week. Pier anglers were beginning to catch steelhead and whitefish.

Anglers targeting yellow perch reported an uptick in success here this week, using minnows on perch rigs and either drifting or vertically jigging.

Anglers continued to make good catches of salmon in the lower river here.

Salmon fishing continued to be good here. Anglers had success while casting spoons and crank baits throughout the river.

Fishing from these ports was reported as great over the past week. 

Fishing efforts from these ports were strong over the past week.

Bass, pike, and panfish were caught steadily throughout the county on many lakes here.

Salmon fishing was strong all across the northwestern Lower Peninsula.
