Smallmouth bass fishing was reported to have dramatically picked up on this fishery.

Walleye fishing remained excellent throughout the Detroit River, with many limit catches reported. Anglers were finding the best success when they were able to find stained or off-color water.

Walleye fishing began to heat up on this fishery, with some anglers able to catch their limits.

Pier fishing remained good here. Anglers fishing with spawn did well on steelhead from early morning on.

Those who made it out over the weekend reported catching many little yellow perch, with a few keepers mixed in.
