Forest trolls on display in Pennsylvania’s McKean County will be lit, guarded using solar

Three monumental trolls slated for construction across McKean County next year will have off-grid solar-powered spotlights and security cameras.
The 30-foot sculptures – Trolls in the Forest – to be hand-built of recycled and reclaimed materials by Danish environmental artist Thomas Dambo will be a permanent installation with 24/7 LED lighting and monitoring independent of the local utility grid.
