Trophy catfish plan advances for Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers

Just a few days after the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission put the finishing touch on its plan to create a trophy catfish fishery in the state’s western rivers, the agency again stocked thousands of blue catfish in the Ohio River here.
At its meeting in Harrisburg July 27, the agency’s Board of Commissioners gave final approval to new regulations for catfish species in the Ohio River Basin.
