Yellow Breeches Creek in Pennsylvania’s Cumberland County was so warm July 17 TCO Fly Shop was advising anglers to go instead to one of the local spring creeks for trout – or better yet, to head to the Susquehanna River for smallmouth bass.
The company had similar advice about Tulpehocken and Valley creeks and urged anglers to check water temperatures before fishing limestone-fed waters like Spring Creek and Penns Creek for wild trout.
